 MAY 2024 SERVICE CHANGE 

The regularly scheduled May Service Change will take effect on Sunday, May 5, 2024. Please see below for a summary of the adjustments.

#5 Tri-City Regional [Draft PDF]

  • Reducing number of weekday express trips serving downtown St. Louis
        • Morning trips reduced from six (6) to two (2) trips
        • Afternoon trips reduced from five (5) to three (3) trips

NOTE: Passengers in the Granite City area are able to access downtown St. Louis via #5 to Metrolink or by boarding the #1X Riverbend Express at the MCT IL-3 Park & Ride in Granite City.

  • Replacing eliminated St. Louis trips with service to Emerson Park Metrolink Station
  • Adjusting running times between Canal & 3rd and Market & Gardner
  • Adjusting various start times
  • Adjusting the routing of the last weekday southbound trip to Emerson Park Metrolink to operate via Madison Ave., 3rd, and IL-203

#9 Washington Shuttle

  • Adjusting each route in upper Alton to serve the bus stop on Main Street at Edwards to allow improved access to Centerstone and to connect with the #7 Alton-Edwardsville

#11 Brown Shuttle

  • Adjusting each route in upper Alton to serve the bus stop on Main Street at Edwards to allow improved access to Centerstone and to connect with the #7 Alton-Edwardsville

#12 Bethalto Shuttle

  • Adding two weekday evening trips in both directions to better serve passengers, with service ending in the 6:00 p.m. hour

#20 Granite City-Pontoon Beach Shuttle

  • Eliminating 15-minute frequency between 5:47 a.m. and 6:17 a.m. by removing the 6:02 a.m. trip between Liberty & Chain of Rocks and Granite City Station
  • Adjusting last evening trip from Liberty & Chain of Rocks to end at Granite City Station to increase amount of recovery time
