On Campus
Catch the FREE #17 Cougar Shuttle every 10 minutes at the Hairpin Drive in front of Peck Hall to Cougar Village. Every hour the bus also cruises around Circle Drive for the residence halls and the Early Childhood Center. Did we mention it’s FREE?

To Edwardsville
For just 75 cents a ride, the #16 Edwardsville Shuttle, picks up on campus every hour and rolls through these popular Edwardsville spots:

Downtown Edwardsville: With restaurants, a coffee house, live music venues, art galleries and specialty shops you’re bound to see familiar faces.

Troy Road, or "the Strip" has restaurants and retail stores such as Target, Schnucks, Shop ‘n Save and Kohls.

Cottonwood Plaza is home to Wal-Mart, Office Max, Applebee’s, a movie theater and a variety of other stores and eateries.

Off-campus housing: For students who live off campus, we serve popular housing areas such as Devon Court in ESIC, Woodcrest Apartments in Edwardsville and Village Estates in Glen Carbon.

To Madison County
Live outside of Edwardsville? Take the bus to class, with fares never exceeding $1.25 a ride.

#4 Madison - Edwardsville provides weekday and Saturday service to Edwardsville, Granite City, Madison, and Venice.

#7 Alton - Edwardsville provides weekday and Saturday service to Edwardsville, Alton, East Alton, Wood River, and the SIU Dental School.

#14 Highland - Edwardsville provides weekday service to Edwardsville, Highland, Troy, and St. Jacob.

To Amtrak
MCT offers bus service from SIUE to both the downtown St. Louis Amtrak Station via MetroLink and Metro bus on weekdays and Saturdays, and the Alton (Ill.) Amtrak Station on weekdays only. From SIUE to the downtown St. Louis Amtrak Station (Weekdays & Saturdays Only)

Board the southbound #19 Edwardsville-Collinsville Shuttle at Peck Hall on weekdays. After 5 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, board the #16A Edwardsville Shuttle at Peck Hall to continue to Collinsville Station.

Depart Collisville Station on the #18 Collinsville Metrobus at the 5th & Missouri MetroLink Station and board the westbound MetroLink train.

Depart the MetroLink train at the Civic Center MetroLink Station, then walk 2 blocks west on 14th Street, then 1 block south on 16th Street to the Amtrak Station, located at 550 S. 16th Street. Metro bus service from the Civic Center MetroLink Station to the Amtrak Station is also available.

From the downtown St. Louis Amtrak Station to SIUE (Weekdays & Saturdays Only)

Walk from the Amtrak Station 1 block north on 16th Street and 2 blocks east on 14th Street to the Civic Center MetroLink Station located at 14th & Spruce Streets. Metro bus service from the Civic Center MetroLink Station to the Amtrak Station is also available.

Board the eastbound MetroLink train at the Civic Center MetroLink Station.

Depart the MetroLink train at the 5th & Missouri MetroLink Station, then board the northbound #18 Collinsville Metrobus and ride to the Collinsville Transfer Station.

Transfer to #19 Edwardsville-Collinsville Shuttle to Peck Hall on weekdays and Saturdays.

From SIUE to the Alton Amtrak Station (Weekdays Only)

Board the #16 Edwardsville Shuttle at Peck Hall on weekdays.

Depart the #16 Edwardsville Shuttle at the Edwardsville Transit Station and transfer to the northbound #7 Alton - Edwardsville Shuttle.

Depart the #7 Alton - Edwardsville Shuttle at Main & Edwards in Alton.

Board the #11 Brown Shuttle and tell the driver that you need to go to the Amtrak Station. The bus will then drop you off at Jackson, across College from the Amtrak Station.

From the Alton Amtrak Station to SIUE (Weekdays Only)

Walk from the Amtrak Station to College and Kendall, then board the northbound #11 Brown Shuttle. Tell the driver you want to transfer to #7 at Main & Edwards.

Depart the #11 Brown Shuttle at Main & Edwards, then transfer to the southbound #7 Alton - Edwardsville Shuttle.

Depart the #7 Alton - Edwardsville Shuttle at Edwardsville Transit Station, then transfer to the #16 Edwardsville Shuttle.

Depart the #16 Edwardsville Shuttle at Peck Hall.
