Fares

  • The cost of riding an MCT Shuttle bus is 75 cents for adults, 35 cents for the elderly and disabled, 35 cents for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children under 5.
  • The cost of riding an MCT Cross County Bus is one dollar and twenty-five cents for adults, 60 cents for the elderly and disabled, 60 cents for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children under 5.
  • The cost of riding an MCT Express bus is two dollars for adults, one dollar for the elderly and disabled, one dollar for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children under 5.
  • The cost of riding an MCT Metro bus is one dollar 75 cents for adults, 85 cents for the elderly and disabled, 85 cents for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children under 5.
  • The cost of an MCT local transfer is free for everyone.
  • The cost of a regional transfer is 50 cents for adults, 25 cents for the elderly and disabled, 25 cents for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children under 5.

    • *Senior citizens (65 and up) with an Illinois drivers's license or Illinois state ID can ride for free on MCT fixed-route buses.

    **Persons with disabilities who are registered Paratransit users may ride the MCT fixed-route buses for FREE by showing a valid MCT Paratransit Card or Metro Paratransit Card.

    MCT Shuttle

    Bus service within a Madison County community.

    MCT Cross County

    Bus service from city to city within Madison County and select locations in St. Clair County.

    MCT Express

    Commuter bus service to downtown St. Louis.

    MCT Metro

    Bus service to MetroLink and downtown St. Louis.

    Passes

    MCT accepts the following passes:

    MCT Local Monthly Passes ($37.50)
    Good on all MCT Shuttles and MCT Cross County buses.

    MCT System Monthly Pass ($50.00)
    Good on all MCT Shuttles, MCT Cross County buses, MCT Metrobuses, and MCT Express routes.

    Metro Monthly System Pass ($60)
    Good on all MCT routes, on all Metro bus routes and MetroLink.

    Metro Weekly Pass ($19)
    Good on all MCT routes, on all Metro bus routes and MetroLink for a week. To purchase, visit the MetroRide Store in downtown St. Louis.
