Serving the elderly and disabled of Madison County.
A curb-to-curb bus service for registered Madison County residents.
Madison County residents who are 65 and older or have a disability can apply for the paratransit service. Registration is required.

Call (618) 931-7433, Option 1 to request an application and registration forms.
Complete applications and forms, and mail to ACT accompanied by proof of age or professional verification of disability.
ACT will notify you in writing regarding your eligibility.
Once eligibility is confirmed, trips can be scheduled.

Where Can I Travel?
All registered passengers may travel within Madison County without restriction for trip purpose.
ADA-eligible passengers may travel outside Madison County without restriction for trip purpose.
Non-ADA passengers may travel to St. Louis or St. Clair County for medical appointments only.

To schedule a trip call (618) 931-7433, Option 1. Trips must be scheduled at least one day before the trip or up to 14 days in advance.
To cancel a trip call (618) 931-7433, Option 2. Please call with cancellations as soon as possible as a courtesy to other passengers.
No-show policy applies.

Within a single service zone: $1.50
Connecting multiple zones: $2.50
St. Clair County or St. Louis: $3.50 - $4.50
Madison County residents living in the Out of District Zone are charged an additional $1.00.

Non-ADA Hours
The first pick up on Monday through Saturday is at 6:00 a.m.
The last drop off on Monday through Friday is at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
There is no service on Sunday.
ADA Hours
In addition to the hours listed above, ADA-eligible passengers (within 3/4 mile of an MCT fixed-route) can travel during the same hours and
days of operation as the fixed-route bus. Call (618) 931-7433, Option 1 for details.

Upon request, drivers will assist passengers in and out of the bus. Drivers are not permitted to go inside a passengers home or business.
Passengers must notify the dispatcher if special help is needed. Drivers will not assist a passenger in a wheelchair up or down more than
two steps at any location.

Can I Take Someone Along?
Yes, under the conditions listed below:
Aides or Attendants: Individuals who assist ADA-eligible passengers do not pay a fare. They must board at the same location as the
registered passenger.
Companions: One companion or child may travel with a passenger at full fare. Additional companions may ride at full fare on a
space-available basis. Passengers must inform ACT about companions at the time of booking.
Children: Children, 40 lbs. and under, must ride in an approved infant car seat supplied by the passenger. Passengers who do not have
an infant car seat may request one from ACT in advance.

Tired of making reservations in advance? Try the MCT fixed-route service. The buses on the fixed-route travel on a regular schedule and do not
require contacting ACT. All buses are wheel chair accessible.
