MCT TEAMS UP WITH THE ST. LOUIS RAMS
Purchase a Rams Ticket and Ride Free on the Rams Express
GRANITE CITY, ILL., SEPTEMBER 28, 2010. . . Madison County Transit (MCT) and the St. Louis Rams are teaming up to offer a free ride on the MCT Rams Express for individuals who purchase single-game tickets as part
of a MCT-St. Louis Rams Ticket Combo promotion. The promotion kicks off with the Rams game this Sunday, October 3 and continues through the remainder of the 2010 season. To participate, Madison County residents purchase
individual tickets for Rams home games and indicate that they want the “MCT-Rams Ticket Combo.” The Rams Ticket Office will then mail two, one-way MCT Rams Express vouchers to the participant, along with their game tickets
– one for the trip to the game and the other for the trip home. Individual Rams tickets can be purchased at a group rate for standard general admission seats. Tickets must be purchased by the close of business on the Wednesday
before game day in order to ensure delivery. To order tickets, fans are encouraged to call the St. Louis Rams Ticket Office at 314-425-0509.
“The Rams approached us about this promotion and will reimburse MCT for every one-way voucher that is used,” said MCT Director of Marketing & Planning SJ Morrison. “It’s a win-win for everyone.”
Pick-up and drop-off locations for the Alton Rams Express include: Alton Square (lower level), Alton Holiday Inn, Eastgate Plaza, Wood River Station, and Granite City Station; Edwardsville Rams Express stops include: Edwardsville Station,
Cottonwood Mall, Maryville Park & Ride, and Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville; Highland Rams Express stops include: Highland Park & Ride, St. Jacob Park & Ride, and Troy Park & Ride (all located on U.S. 40). Rams Express
brochures with specific pick-up times for each home game are available on MCT buses, at MCT transfer stations, or at www.mct.org. For details, call (618) 931-7433, Option #3. Groups of 30 or more are encouraged to call MCT in advance
to ensure seating availability. No food, beverages, or coolers are allowed on the bus.
