Attention MCT Passengers in Alton:
#7, #9, #11
During the afternoon and evening hours on Monday, August 3, Edwards Street near Main in Alton will be closed for an event.
During the event, the routes of the #7 Alton – Edwardsville, #9 Washington Shuttle and #11 Brown Shuttle will be altered that day.
Please see routing below. Regular route will be followed until the closure of Edwards Street.
#7 Alton – Edwardsville:
- #7 to Alton Square will turn right on Main Street, pass Edwards and pick-up and drop-off on Main.
- #7 to Edwardsville will pick-up and drop-off just past the Post Office and before Edwards.
#9 Washington Shuttle:
- #9 to Alton Square will make a right on Brown from Washington, then a left on Main.
The bus will then pass Edwards and pick-up and drop-off on Main.
- #9 to 6th & Piasa will pick-up and drop-off on Main just past the Post Office and before Edwards.
#11 Brown Shuttle:
- #11 to Fosterburg will turn left on Main from Brown, pass Edwards, and pick-up and drop-off on Main.
- #11 to 6th & Piasa will pick-up and drop-off on Main just past the Post Office and before Edwards.
Normal routing will resume on Tuesday, August 4, 2009.
